List of starting systems

Has anyone seen and/or made a list of the starting systems??
With trade being changed all the time - I feel I got to get out of 'dodge' - away from all known starting systems.
Looking at a 100 LY bubble around starting systems and popular places (ie) sol

Thanks in advance.

edit -- I believe my starting system was Aiabiko (at least that's where my Eagle was given and where my Sidewinder is now stored when I switched).

I can say that I am quite far from Sol and everything else. I am on the edge of populated space and I did not travel very far from where I'm at now. Since all of the events and faction warfare have been going on hundreds of lightyears from where I started - I haven't tried those. This could also be why the game feels empty to me. I imagine this is true for many people. Though on the other hand, it's nice for exploration.

I wish they would seed the game with more random events and provide a sense of things changing.

I saw another thread which sounded awesome - about NPC expansion into a neighboring system. That gave me some hope, but then they discovered it was bugged and didn't happen. Bummer.

Well, I'll just do some bounty hunting until I get bored of the game I suppose.

I am currently playing in a system called Sawahinn and it's near Shona and some other systems I can't remember the names of.

Personally I'd not like to see such a list compiled and posted.

It would attract seal-clubbers like flies to a fresh plop. Think of the poor noobs! :D

Those system are reguraly partoled by experienced players hunting down seal clubbers. Don't you worry about it. Been there, done that.

Solo play? Private group? Who plays open when they aren't looking for PvP? There's absolutely no benefit to playing open play. It's strictly for PvP as far as I can tell...AND...that's when you actually find someone else in the massive galaxy.

And that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread...

@OP: nope, haven't seen such a list compiled.

Why play solo?? If I wanted to play solo I would play tetris......
Meet new people, be in a risk, this is what I love in open play and I will NEVER go solo mode.

It would attract people who want to help! Do it for the noobs! ;)

Correct. It has to do with the "seal-clubbers" comment =)

....but when you don't see people for hours on end... are you not just playing with yourself?

Space is big, when I see a player a always say "hello". They usually answear. That's the alpha/beta thing. We just know that space is big and finding another player in some distant system is a rare thing so we great each other. And what you got in solo? Just AI's and nothing ealse. That's just soooooo lonley. Even beeing pirated in the middle of nowhere by a player for me is worth it because HEY you just met anothe human beeing in a very very very big galaxy :)

Yea, they should do more public events and such that encourage co-op (and even non co-op) multiplayer. My friend and I play against NPCs in a private group while we chat on Skype. So not so lonely =) Again more things to do here with regard to randomly seeded events and "multi room dungeons" for co-op would be great and add to our enjoyment (aside from wings with shared bounties).

I don't think the OP has any interest in sealclubbing. But others might, so I get the arguments against compiling and posting a list of starter systems.
However, if your goal is simply to avoid crowded systems, because trading is bad there, you don't need to go 100LY away. Just 2 or 3 jumps removed from a busy system is more than enough to find some quiet systems all to yourself, and the occasional other.
Currently I'm trading only 2 or 3 jumps away from Sol, and it's dead quiet.
If you want a list of busy systems (to avoid), download Slopey's BPC and click the "Flight log" tab.
It lists the systems that have been uploaded the most, in that order.
(I used Slopey's BPC in Beta. I've stopped using it because it was spoon-feeding me info that I should be searching for, and discovering on my own. Though I do still take an occasional look out of curiosity.)

upgrade youre fsd, come to the edge of space and join us at the dukes of mikunn in mikunn, attemptig to overthrow the corporate government in nearby HR. Good trading to be had to

I started in Aiabiko and I cannot find any path to get far away as they all lead to dead ends

If you can't make money where you are, and can't jump anywhere else - lose weight. Dump your lasers, your scanner, your shields - any decrease in mass will boost your jump range.
