Although I would like to see adverts with the Redknapp family pretending to understand the concept of Elite.

Nah - it's a little far past the stage of being of interest any more - I expect more from a game - now were it available on my iPod Touch or on my Android phone then it's highly likely I'd part with a couple of quid for the privilege.

1. I don't own or have interest in owning Wii or any console in general.

2. While the original Elite deserves all the respect for pioneering open-ended space-sims, 3D graphics and procedural generation on household machines, as well as for starting the series, it's one of the rare cases when a game has actually been rendered obsolete by its sequel or another game in general.

Elite IV Training Pack

I voted yes, but only if the other 2 later Elite games came along with it, redone versions with all the bugs fixed and a little graphical polish. To be honest, for us forum regulars it may not be that interesting, but for the new generation, it would be an opportunity to introduce them to the Elite universe and the concept of a game that lasts more than just an afternoon, a "training pack" if you will for Elite IV's eventual appearance. :rolleyes:

I had a copy for the Palm for a while which was good but a bit fiddily,

I'd love to see it on the Iphone, get the feeling it would be a popular app.

I dont have a Wii (anymore), but would love to see it on Xbox Live Arcade :)

And while your at it Frontier, any chance of Virus (or V2000) making a comeback? ;)
