X52 Pro 0 Speed Problem

Hello,

i would like to know does anyone who owns/use a X52 pro, has the same problem as i.

I have two stops build in the throttle, short before the maximum and lowest speed.
The problem is, in the middle is nothing, always at landing, it is so damn hard to find and hold the 0 Speed postion.

The left screw, if i turn it to hard, it is better, but the throttle himself isn't then comfortable to use for speeding up and down.

Is my package missing a bumb maybe at the 0 position?

Thanks for your answers and help,

Ene. :)

Happens to me on the gamepad as well. Causes me to fly into walls and such without warrant. Easiest fix for this is mash your stop key( "X" in my case) and the ship will go back to 0. Then you can fly normally.

I had a T-Flight before my X52 and there was a mid point on that throttle which made sense to have forward/reverse on the same input, push forward to go forward and pull back to reverse. With the X52 you should have it set so the whole throttle is for forward only and have a button to toggle the throttle being forward/reverse.

Mine is set to
Throttle Axis Range - Forward Only
Forward only throttle Reverse - D (the button on the throttle by your thumb)
Button Mode - Hold

Use the Saitek programming tool..you can adjust your throttle axis so the midpoint has a "flat spot" that will equate to 0 speed in game and you can make that flat spot as big as you like.

Make sure you have the axis bound to the throttle and not the separate keybinds...in the games control settings

I have a problem with the x52 sometimes with getting to zero throttle, i'm not sure if its the same problem as yours but sometimes its like the dead zone changes by itself and I can't go to 0 speed. I found that exiting the game and unplugging the joystick, wait a few seconds and then plugging it back in again resets it and the problem is gone. Good luck!

If you're trying to get 0 in the middle of the range you can make the centre deadzone larger and then you won't have to be too precise

Thank you all,

didn't know there was extra Software for making a profile.
Found the deadzone, will try 0-10%, 10% - 67% and 67% - 100%.

I hope it will not influence, that i want to fly backwards when i move below the half way of the throttle.

But at least options that will help me. Thank you, guys. :)

I have set up my X52 Pro to throttle down to zero when I pull the throttle all the way back, and have a dedicated "reverse throttle" button (I also removed the "bumps"). Maybe this would suit you better, too?

Imho for trade and scouting there is no benefit in being able to go smoothly from -100% to +100% throttle. And landing is hell, as you have noticed...

Having gone from a t flight to the x52, I REALLY miss that zero throttle click, still I use full range.

Its not hard to judge, even when I"m using an occulus. You will note the color changes when you go from + to - on the throttle itself (red to green) just stop when you see that click over. With the oculus I can't see it but I've learned very easily to judge based on the ship throttle screen. The only issue is taking off there might be a slight + throttle but not enough to matter.

i've had this problem a couple times but not recently. i would just unplug the set and plug it back in. kind of a pain in the arsehole when landing but i would "toggle" forward to reverse to land.
