Low Energy Wakes seem to have mass now

Getting Co-op working has been a bit of a pain, no real improvement from Beta, until now.
Just noticed the low energy wakes in supercruise have mass now, just like a USS. This means you will actually slow to a reasonable speed and make it easier to get within 1000km of one.

Nothing added yet to target them from the contacts tab, would also be nice to have their distance on the main UI, and let you know if someone in your friends group was in there, but its a start.

You can't target them with the frameshift wake scanner? I'm asking because I haven't purchased one yet.

you don't scan low energy ones, just get within 1000km and a speed under 1000 (just like using USS or stations) and drop out of SC.

*edit
first 15 seconds of this video show a player dropping into a USS, then I target their low energy wake and drop out of supercruise. Then I'm in the same "normal space" area as the other player.

This is much easier to do now.

On that note, Has anyone else noticed a change to late-stage SC deceleration over the last day or two? I used to wait until around 1.3Mm to target to max my throttle, but last night I found that this was getting me to destination lock at around 300km/s. I can now max my throttle from about 5Mm and squeeze under the 1Mm/s bar.

What puzzles me is that I'd have expected any such changes to be at the client end. Not to mention that I'd have expected there to be a long thread about it if it wasn't just me! But if you're saying SC is now affected by LEWs, it makes sense for there to be other similar changes.

Or it could, I suppose, be that it's the same change, and it's wakes of other ships dropping into stations that are slowing me down on final approach.
