Is it just me, or is the Fragment Cannon useless? It run's out of ammo way before you destroy even 1 target.

Tried them out, as well as Cannons. Definitely for close range combat but I'm loving my 4x gimballed multi-cannons too much to swap back.

At less than 100m or so against hulls it's really good, think that's about it.

Frag Cannon is good against hulls. Get close and then triple spam em.

Its for finishing off big lumps that are about to jump...

Make sure there shields are down. It bounces off shields.

I have been using them to fight ships with no shields, but sounds like they are more for finishing off ships than for the whole fight. What am I best off with for my cobra for a whole battle against a ship with no shields?
