Stupid question

What is the max cargo for a Lakon 6? I have 80, but i keep reading 100, and 112. Is this an older spec.

I have
4 x 16 in size 4.
1 x 8 in size 3
2 x 4 in size 2

Am i going mad?

It depends what you put in your compartments
There are 2 size 5 (max 32T) compartments in a Lakon 6
If you (foolishly, IMHO) choose to fly without shields, you can use the extra space for cargo.
You don't need a Discovery scanner in a Trader. Space=cargo

some people swap out shields for more cargo space. Sell the scanner for more space. By my calculations you should get 80-104 plus a shield, depending on what you sell for cargo space and 112 if you swap out the shields for cargo.

mine has 104 ton and still has a shield.

2*32, 2*16 and 2*4 cargo racks

No discover scanner required so sell it. 32ton cargo racks are about 115k and 32's are something like 34k a piece.

128 if you drop any scanners and your shield. 120 with shield (recommended as the extra 8 tonnes is not worth the risk of being clipped leaving the station without a shield).

How do you get 120 with a shield? Even with downgraded shield in the lowest slot and nothing else I'm maxing at 104.

I downgraded my shield (and halved my fuel tank) to get a better jump range.

Pm me (to remind me) and I will take a shot of my rather poor fittings).


[EDIT- You need a 64 cargo in one slot to get to 128 or 120 with shields]
