Most Beautiful Stations

First time I entered Macmillan Terminal at Achenar in Empire Space and saw one of those I was dumbfounded. I actually wasted some 6 minutes of my docking time just spinning around to see it all, and after landed, kept looking around the station and taking it all in.
I've seen nice outposts too. Here's one which had cyan markings, and a long rotating axle of 'containers' labelled 1A thru 3F. Other sections had identification labels too, such as M1, S1 and S2. At the end there was what looked like a giant tyre or inner-tube, and that had SB-AK-EH-JV on it. Could they be the designers' initials? It was a military outpost and the only one I've been to so not sure if they're all cyan.
I've also been to some 'spaceship showrooms', which have LOTS of advertising and plenty of ships on display. Oddly, though, they didn't have any ships for sale.

Can't say I've seen any change from what they were originally but there is certainly a great deal of variety in the outposts.
Outposts are one of the "Nailed it!" features in ED in my opinion, they have done a great job with them everything from their look through to the ambience when docked. I've heard some great industrial soundscapes as well as a few "there's a party going on" situations which brought a smile to face and add a lot to the feeling that these structure do contain life.
The station around the moon has always stuck in my mind apart from all the palm tree variants etc. Can't remember what it's called though, I think it might be Galileo? It was beautiful though.
I used to think the stations had no variety but once I knew where to look it turns out they are quite varied within the parameters set out.

Mars stations have pink interior with palm trees and they are beautiful!
Showroom outpost really looks fantastic! Great idea. Haven't seen it yet. Thx!

The station I was at had a hold open to space with lots of shipping containers in, plus shoddily repaired damage, some with what looked to be weapon-fire scarring.
EDIT: I should say I mean are the damaged stations new, as I did see the pirate decorated ones before, although didn't notice that they were damaged, if indeed that was the case.

Even though the large ports are majestic, I actually like the eyecandy of the outposts, especially when their's a moon/planet near by. Some times I'll fly around the outpost and enjoy the view before landing.

This one's bit different. A beautiful name, and it has a couple of messages for anyone entering.
I also thought Lave was a pretty gorgeous one, I think it's the colour scheme of the outside lights.

Will be great to get some more variation on the insides of the big cylindrical stations. If it's there now it's very subtle- most stations I visit seem to have a greenish lighting inside, last night I flew into a more bluish one. Even that is a bit too subtle. A lot could and should be done with lighting on the inside- different kinds of lighting setups and moods created, or big repairs/construction (scaffolding) going on.
