boosting your combat status to the maximum by advertising yourself to killers

I've been playing BH since release but I've failed miserably to find any pirates anywhere (apart from dull NPC's).

I have therefore decided to try the unusual tactic of setting myself up as a rich target for any pirates and advertising my location to see if any will come to me.

I am hanging around Sol in a modestly armed Cobra Mk III and have 32t of Gold in my breadbin, If you can take it its yours......

I'm looking for a fair(ish) fight, if you turn up in an Anaconda or try ganking me, I will jump without dropping so much as a breadcrumb.....

One other thing, I'm only looking for genuine pirates with a sizeable bounty to collect to make it worth my while....

You know what we need? Some 3rd party tools for Bounty Hunters similar to Thrudds trading (and pirating) tools.

Imagine a database of people spotting Cmdrs with bounties or getting attacked in lawful systems by players with medium to huge bounties then reporting it on the tool.
Dont know what effect would it have on the criminals, make em feel famous or scared, but I reckon a lot of traders would stop opening forum threads and start opening those tools to report the crime.

I can start: Cmdr Cevap: last seen in Uszaa; Bounty: 50 Cr in the independent station of whatsitsname (to be confirmed)

I actuallt think that something like that should exist in game, the security office at each starport should have a crime reporting section.....

Update...

I spent over an hour flying around with a breadbin full of Gold, Just waiting to get pirated and didn't see a SINGLE WANTED playet the whole time, The only interaction I got was from some guy in another Cobra stopped to ask for directions and a chat....

Sol you say for 32t of measley gold?
Make that 32t of rares and change your location outside of a capital system
(so other people without the permit can partake too)
and i might consider coming over.

The whole information policy here is bad,
the bounty board hasn't updated since 22nd dec 2014,
it sometimes doesn't even show, and gal net doesn't report about player actions,
outside from fanbase creations.

*tips hat* you have some rep for having a landing gear of steel

I believe that the correct parlance is 'Iron Ass'.....

I will try again later in anorther system.....

This seems an odd and unnescessary thing to say but.
Any pirates out there please add me to your friends list so that I can come for your bounties....

I'm going to be doing the opposite of this shortly, and flying around with an enormous slave driven bounty and streaming it in order to attract bounty hunters and have great fun at the same time, We need more of this for sure ... If i wouldn't lose 660k for it i'd buy an asp and come over right now but sadly i'm between combat ships :(

If you can wait till next wednesday when I get the new Gamcab Cam setup i'll meet you and we can both stream it.
