A few peeps have wondered what happened to me writing a storyline in The Thargoid and The Fer-de-Lance….. I sort of ran out of available time, here’s an example of a month in my life.
1. The house renovations. - This a few images portraying the work that went on just completing our bedroom, it’s a 4 bedroomed stone built house, with drive(built by us), rewired etc.

2. Scuba diving. - Me and my lovely lady use our diving for good use. We’ve joined with a group called Seasearch (we’re in the North East www.seasearchne.com website maintained by me). Who record species data in our region, and submit forms with photos. This is all logged and sent to the Marine Conservation Society, and has helped them try to work with those in no.10 decide where to place conservation Zones.

3. The Idiots… Errm Dogs, Love long walks and we combine this with our love of wildlife, by doing photography, and again as above submit any relevant endangered species to the necessary bodies, such as BTO. and Campin goes with this.

4. Reading, Just reading Pratchett’s latest Science of the Discworld, and Raymond E. Feist at the moment.
5. Writing, With all of this Elite
angerous stuff, I’ve read and re-read some books based around Elite/Oolite, and decided I’d try my own. Onto Chapter 11 at the moment, but from tips supplied by Drew and a few other authors, I removed a “not-quite-flashback-scene” and made it a prologue. Then Mobius did some fantastic artwork and I couldn’t leave one unused, so made the prologue a short story itself, A Ship’s Destruction resulted. Then about chapter 7-8 a new character comes into play, so rather than disrupt the story with a short background, Snakes’ Nest appeared, again with the courtesy of Mobius. Viewable here…

6. The Violin, hasn’t been used for a few months (packed away safe from dust while we rip walls, ceilings and chimney ******* apart), but this also takes up probably ½ hour a day practice, then an hour every 2 weeks at the music teacher’s. And try to make time to fiddle, while the Mrs plays with her organ… or guitar (she’s the musician).

On top of that I have work and http://www.greyhorseconsett.co.uk/ which serve lovely real ales. Oh, and we sleep and … errm...yeah...sometimes LOL.
But as you wish…. I’ll squeeze this into my lunchtimes at work LOL. If it gets too much I may ask if people would like to help out, as its mainly copying the text from TTFDL, putting it in one format, and polishing it a little.
