Sometimes people want to make a gold rush. Plus you don't really need to do this run at all.

You also can't expect any good run to remain private if it is really good too. At some point people will talk about it and it'll become public.

But 50K is not too shabby, I prefer a nice little rare run

What can I say. I like to share, so unlucky for you I shall continue. Plenty of goods for all.
Also the system is not entirely local so I doubt I'll create a gold rush, nor was that my intention.

How do you actually 'do' the seeking luxuries?

There were two sets of them in LFT 946 (I think, near shinrata anyway) 4000Mm from the station, they messaged requesting 'the top 5 trending off this months report', but that didn't make any sense as there has been no report this month.

Don't know what the top five are or where you find them.

I sold perf enhancers, just fly close to the type 9s and the transaction takes place automatically, a message will flash up once complete.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but there's now a CMDR in a clipper warning people away from Shu Rong, claiming it's his/her patch.

Not that it makes any difference as you can just switch to Solo or PVE and still reap the same rewards.

theres a good 1.5k per unit run between pand and HR 6680. And 1.4k going back for a wide array of goods, supply and demand being squashed isnt an issue either theres hardly anyone out this far except the explorers returning their data to pand.

Yeah I had this great trade run:

3.6 million an hour. Then it had 3 or 4 other commanders landing in the last 24. It didn't take long for the numbers to go over 30 and the profits started to drop.

This makes perfect sence to me but to others this confirms trading is "broken", yeah?

There are some great runs to find, just got to look.

Since all CMDRs need a lot of money to upgrade their ships, why should they NOT participate in a gold rush?

Basically, they are just saving time in the boring 'grind for money' business. And the time saved can be better spent in having some fun shooting down pirates :)

I found an excellent run 150+LY from Achenar, and I don't intend to tell people the nitty gritty about it because the drop in quantity of each commodity affects local supply and demand which, in turn, drastically alters my profits.
