Multiple displays?

Is it possible to run ED on multiple displays? If so how?
Am I right in thinking that if I have a graphics card that supports NVidia Surround then would ED recognise all monitors and spread itself across them accordingly?

I have multiple displays set up on my PC already, but the game only runs on one screen.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

You'll first have to set up Nvidia Surround, and then tell Elite to use that setting in the graphics properties.

That should take all of 30 seconds.

Balls. My NVidia card has three outputs, VGA, DVI and HDMI, yet it doesn't appear to support Surround. It's just not there where it should be in the settings.

What's the point in that??

IIRC all nvidia card from the 6xx series (well, the full blooded ones at least) will do surround from just the one card, the 5xx and before needed 2 or more cards. Not sure what kind of FPS at 660 would get, but my 690 only slows down a little inside big space stations.

To be honest, I've recently looked a bit further into this, and it turns out my motherboard isn't even SLI compatible, so for now the 3-screen gaming I'd been looking forward to is a little further into the distance.

:-(

I have a GTX780 OC running three 27" 1080P displays. If your screens are different resolutions, it may not work. The screens can be different sizes, but the resolution is the key. I was running two 27" and one 32" for a while. I worked pretty well, but the scaling between the screens was off and annoyed me. Btw, I have two on DVI and one on HDMI. The game runs great at 5840 x 1080, with bezel correction, on a single card.
