14 hours Grinding Challenge

Good luck mate... but honestly... I dont understand why people do that?
I get tired after two hours.

And.... come on... you haven't even tried exploration?

The main thing keeping me from exploring is that if I have too much fun and, say a new ship comes out that I want to buy. I'd have to spend the same amount of time heading back, or blow myself up and lose profits. Which is assuming I go that far from civilized space.

I assume you explore a bit? How is it?

14 hours and 30 minutes later...

Did it. Didnt reached 80 millions but the goal of 200 million has been reached. Did a little over 75 million.

Pics of the Awsome reward incoming... :)

I want to thank the CMDR who supported me with my last 10 million. We met by chance on my trading run and what a coincidence.... He read my post so he recognized me. Thanks to you CMDR.

Rather you than me OP lol

I find I can only generally tolerate long trading sessions if I have a film or football on the second monitor. Thankfully SkyGo exists :)

Mrs B will be home late from work today so plan is to hammer a trading session to get me closer to my Asp. Just need to find a film to stream while I do it.

Nutjob :) I can only grind for an hour or so before my brain tries to go it alone and gets me killed by neglecting to request docking. fair play to you. :)

gotta say a worthless objective, a worthless method and probably a meaningless outcome.... but a will that towers high over mount gagazet! I respect your willpower sir and salute it.

Its all about challenge. I love to have impossible objectives. Did it and im proud of it + i have a nice ship as reward. And its not over yet... I need 800 millions now to fully kite my Conda... Err more 14 hours incoming :O

During extended play times I eventually forget to get docking permission.

Easy to deal with in a Cobra, but in a T9 you're toast.

Stay frosty.

Exploration is great. Even better than I thought. However I was always easily immersed by great graphics and space. I also like astronomy... these helps a lot becoming addicted to exploration in this game. ;-)

I wish i was that strong. I can go back and forth for a few hours and then i get seriously bored and get my fighter for some action. I do want a Python though so im trying to trade once in a while.

How do you people get the 3000cr/ton profit routes? Is there a secret knowledge somewhere? I'm about to buy type-6, the first ship it makes sense to have regular trading in, and i'm scared.

Congratulations Athera!

Got my Anachonda few days ago and I love it. There few things you want to upgrade before other like:
Powerplant, truster and framshift drive. Last to internals I use for a a4 shield generator and a a2shield modul if I remeber correct. That way I have room for 448t .

Careful study of the galaxy and of system types and their allegiances and technolgies before lucking out and bumping into a 267k/212T one way and a 303k/212T return. (2688cr/T). Resonating wotsits to a refinery and gold/berylium/platimum/palladium back. Basically High Tech systems with high pop with a refinery system next door is what to look for.

Not sure. My route (in my T6 with 104T cargo) i get around 1300cr profit per commodity. I do usually 110-130K each trip (one way). So around 250K there and back. 1 million cr in a little less than an hour. But to find the really sweet places you either fly around or use 3d party tools to find them.
