Hi I've been looking through the released images from FD to try and get the ships I'm adding to EDD look, well resemble, the ships that will appear in the game and I've noticed one ship concept that I don't recognize.

E.g. this ship in the foreground with it's Hind Gunship style bubble domes and bi-plane wings, any ideas?

The other ships I think are an Anaconda and Viper.



So have you spotted all the ships in all the released images yet.

What about this one, it appears quite a bit but I'm not sure what it is?

The limping home ship is probably just concept art, and so I'd say unlikely to make it into the game, in that form at least. You're right about the other two ships being a Viper and an Anaconda.

The grey one I think is an early test ship, and again may not even make it into the game. Definitely couldn't put a name to it anyway.

But I'm sure The Grey ships profile matches that of the one seen in some of the early dog fighting videos. ;)

The ones in dogfighting videos were almost certainly Anacondas, unless I'm going senile.... That grey one possibly showed up in the John Laws art video, showing the heat-vanes and swappable engines.

The bubble-cockpit ship might be a Hawk, or a member for the bird-class ships, if it is indeed in the game.

I was thinking the grey one was probably the Boa, but the scale of the engines makes the vessel look big. They're adding lots of new ships so I'm not sure.
