Friendly factions...

I have a few stations that I trade with often, they are now friendly to me. Do you know how I can tell we're friends? Because their color turned to green!:D

Unfortunately that is the only way I can tell. Meaning they treat you no different than before.

Do my new friends scan me less often? Nope.
Do they give slightly better prices when buying, or selling goods? Nope.
Do they hesitate from blowing me to bit if I loiter a bit too long while docking? Nope, some friends huh?

If I shoot them in a friendly fire accident do they forgive me, and say be careful next time? Nope.
Do they in any way acknowledge that my trading with them helped cause their economic boom, and helped secure their dominance of the system. Not in the slightest.

The color green it the extent of the depth of our friendship. Does that seem rather shallow to anyone else?

They could have made friendly stations scan 50% less ofter, allowing smugglers to exploit their friendship at the risk of losing it.

They could offer 5% bonus to buying and selling goods to reward players for their help, to show the relationship you've built with the vendors. They could be some tangible benefit to acknowledge this supposed friendly relationship you've built over time.

Could I trade in some of those 400 billion star systems, that I will never in my life time visit, for a bit of depth to the parts of the game that everyone sees?

They give you more missions.
They dont interdict you anymore.
They tell you if they have bounty
You dont need to scan them anymore.
They say welcome valued ally or something like that.

At least when you get allied.

.
More missions which are done mainly to improve reputation...which is already high?
I rarely get interdicted at stations anyway, so not a big deal.
I don't scan them to begin with, I'm not bounty hunting.

They say, hi. Well, that's something I suppose...

No doubt it's better than being red, I just hoped for more.

Doing the work to get to friendly helps out the faction a lot, they could find a way to make it worth your while.

Well apart from charity missions they do still pay you.

It may just be my imagination but when fighting pirates it seems like a lot more authority come to help. As I bounty hunt, not having to scan does help.

You can request docking up to 10km away when allied. Maybe even friendly.

If you are allied with a main faction (Federation, Empire or Alliance), you will automatically become allied with all their sub-factions. Takes a lot of repping with sub-factions to get this.

Better range of missions, medical officer missions, better payouts on missions. Assist within their system, u can help them expand their empire. More interaction, including factional leaders giving u missions later on, helping build their economic, heping build more colonies etc as time expands

I haven't built up much rep with the BIG 3, only minor factions. Is there other bonuses for getting high rep with the major ones?

I thought none of this was implemented, at least not yet.

"That's not in game yet. For the expansion of humanity in space we want a bit more control for now.
