Mods: I would like to report the OP for being way too funny and hitting the nail right on the head :D

I've spent this last week working on a tool to help me build a rares run, finally got something partly workable last night and decided to go try it out ... 2am rolls round and I have to force myself to go to bed ... so tired right now and it's all your fault FD :)

I'm Antony and I've been doing 'Elite' now for over 30 years.

It was fine when I was younger. I was a lot stronger back then. I was on and off the stuff but manage to get clean in the 90's.

I recently tried this new stuff though. It called 'dangerous'.

one hit and bang. Proper hooked.

Been at it again for months. I can't stop. Its taken over my life.

I'm not sleeping, seeing friends, talking to my other half.

I wake up early to get a quick hit. I'm loosing sleep as im at it late on.

My life is ruined cause of it.

I should have listened to Zammo and just said NO.

Damn you Frontier. Damn to hell

Time dilation: the faster you travel, the more your clock slows down. When you play for 30 minutes your time (even exceeding the speed of light), it's actually been 4 hours from the outside world's point of view. E: D got that right!

I'm also worried how video game industry will suffer from this. Soon all other game companies and publishers go bankrupt...

I started with Elite on friday. Never touched the stuff before that.
Aaaand I skipped work monday and tuesday, forgot to eat the entire monday, have "headset" ears and constantly see the dashboard of my Cobra in my peripheral view.

At least make a reminder to take breaks, like Netflix does.

Just a little warning every few hours, reminding people to eat.

Think of the children!

Scrolling through this thread having a chuckle, and I stumble on this. "OMG, that's me!"
I walk around at work thinking roughly the same thing, as well. Not just while laying in bed. lol. Granted, my job isn't exactly mentally demanding, so... haha.
