That's why I hate the sound so much couldn't figure it out, subconscious memories of the tube in rush hour :/ I love the sound in this game, but supercruise grinds my gears, it sounds great when you are sitting at idle, it's the accel/decel loop that does it for me.

+1 It would be nice to have some variety of ship engine noise in SC, in the same way that you get in normal flight.

Oh man, how I wish it would sound different for each ship, especially when you're constantly exposed to the drone while exploring.
