USZAA another broken system !

USZAA is an Independent/Anarchy system.

Yet it has System Authority Vessels which pull you out of SC and scan you.

OK...I can cope with that... But if you are scanned carrying illegal goods you get a FINE ?

Since when can you get fined in anarchy systems ?

Bug or has the way anarchy systems work with regards to fines changed ?

I'm not bothering to raise a ticket for this. By the time it is dealt with we'll be in September 2015 anyway...

This seems to be a 'new' thing. Since release until this point, there's been no SA ships in Uszaa to scan or fine you.

Independent and Anarchy are not interchangeable. If it is independent then yes, you can get a fine with the local authorities. They are fixing things all the time. What's with the bad attitude about things getting fixed?

i don't think it's exclusive to Uszaa, but all those systems, i can't remember, lol.

Independent is the Allegiance.

Anarchy is the gov type.

I know of Only 1 system that has Anarchy Gov type but Federation Allegiance.

You can shoot clean npcs or players in USZAA without getting fined or wanted... So why would you be fined for carrying illegal goods ?

To further confuse matters on the galaxy map USZAA is defined as Gov type anarchy and allegiance anarchy ...

what was you carrying? slaves & toxic waste are prohibited in that system, and 1 of the 3 factions is a indpendant dictatorship, so perhaps it was them who scanned you, since they would still have security forces i think?

Or did you have mission specific contraband like military plans, artwork etc?

The whole system appears to be on lockdown too, apart from the dictatorship party, at clauss dock

Because it's their system, and they set the rules. Turns out, in Uszaa it's illegal to ship goods, but killing people is just fine. You get weirdos running Anarchy systems, who knew!

But the really odd bit is that I lost reputation with USZAA Society, which controls the 2 anarchy independent stations which don't even list regular slaves as illegal !?!

So it was they who scanned me and fined me for goods not listed as illegal ?

Arghhhh I sometimes feel so frustrated by this game, the lack of explanation and rationale for how things work and the unnecessary complexity of some background systems that A) don't seem to work as intended and B) add nothing to the experience...

yeah that does seem a bit tad strange then, imperial slaves are not prohibited there, and tbh, i'm not sure how the lockdown mechanic works, but should not have been fined for that matter in that case i would think. Would be interesting to find out what went wrong here, so i don't make the same mistake.
