David's been out of the office a lot this week giving talks and the like and as he needs to okay all the newsletters we may not see anything new today. I would also say I hope I am completely and utterly wrong!

That's not exactly a proper backer newsletter, does it?
And not everyone is in PBF (me included). Nah, I don't worry too much, my wish was that Ashley would have said when next update will be so we don't get all twichin when Michael says "soon"
Firstly, sorry about the size ... explained later.....
Just about 3 months from Alpha, and we still have no real idea of the game we are getting... I have tried to sell Elite to my friends,
but if you say "look at this new space sim" they look at it and say "that looks good
but have you seen Star Citizen" and say that it looks better, and who
can blame them ... all we have on Elite is a load of proposals and, at best what boils down to a fantastic looking
cartoon (using game engine'ish graphics) I really hope I do not see Elite
Dangerous for the first time on some Alpha testers video on you-tube.
We are next to be graced with a video of how the aforementioned
video was put together to show us what was real and what wasn't,
will it actually show us anything we don't already know ... who knows?
Updates have slowed down over the past few weeks/months,
and I can't believe that all the backers are happy with that ..
and "Peek of the week" if you didn't see it ... don't worry .. here it is (Sorry about the size that was how it was put on the forum)
Please, please, please, please, please show us something real,
something meaty, something that I can truly say .... This is 'Elite: Dangerous' ...
Sorry for the rant but I really want this game to succeed,
and so far, regardless of content, quality and originality,
it is being hidden behind its successors SC and XR ..
It really doesn't matter what us hardcore fans of the
Elite series (or in my case just Elite) think .. it is what the
game buying public think. it's time to blow the lid of this mother !
