Thanks, very cool vid... now I'm even more convinced E.D may become something truly magnificent. Funny thing though, that the market these days is pretty much at the same point it was back then... big publishers THINK to know what people want, good developers actually KNOW it.

I finally got around to watching it last night. It was the game that made me want to play computer games. Before it I had no interest in them. Thanks for the link.

I had already played a few games before discovering Elite, but I still remember clearly the day I purchased Elite for the Spectrum; reading the manual on the way home on the bus; marvelling at the lenslock device; skimming the manual and wondering if I would ever get the hang of it ...

Awesome times ... I hope ED brings similar wonderment

Fantastic! I had never seen that one before (the documentary linked to by the OP I watched last year during the Kickstarter). That ending would have made me very impatient indeed, so it is good that I saw it only now.

I have now watched that one as well. The trouble is, it's like everything else about getting Elite information, the more Braben you see, the more you want! I now have Braben withdrawal symptoms.
