Goals and Results Thread

I thought a thread like this would generate a bit of interest. Simply put, you state a goal and a time or date when you estimate you expect to accomplish it.

Mine is fairly simple. I have 86,000 Cr and a Sidey right now. By Sunday night, I want to be sitting in a shiny new Cobra. If I get the right selection of missions and trades, I think that's doable.

Now the important bit: You have to come back here and say if you did it or not.

What's your mission CMDR?

- Explore X new systems this weekend?

- Video the perfect 1v1 engagement with equal foes?

- Make X profit in a day?

- Finally take down that up-rated Anaconda on the assassination mission?

- Make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs? ;)

my goal is to make a A grade python with military grade hull (halfway there though)
after it.. becoming elite in combat.

Btw..a parsec is about 3.7 ly, isn't it? (i am to lazy to google)

The plan is to grind up around 16 mil for upgrades to the ship, and try out how much light years I can squeeze out of it. Don't know if that'll happen though, as I promised my employer to have some work done by monday. Haven't done much of it during the week, as you can imagine ;)

My goal was to get a python, which i now have :) My next goal is a type 9 and a gold paved trade route, upkeep of the python is not cheap !

Here we are on Sunday just coming into the evening and I have my Cobra Mk. III. To be honest, I had enough to buy it last night, but I wanted to give it some decent upgrades before taking the old girl out so I did a dozen decent paying missions in a Hauler. As I didn't trade in the Hauler I used to raise the cash, I now have a three ship garage which feels good.

Next will be an ASP to set up for long range explorations, but I suspect that will take a week or so of effort.

Well since i was in an ASP the end of last week and now at the end of this week in a Python, i want a Type-9 at latest Sunday and an Anaconda at latest the sunday after that.
Jeez im really doing well now :)

One of these days I'm gonna head down to Empire space and grind my way up to a Clipper. Currently sitting in a 3.5mil Viper with another 3mil to spare, I expect I could get the clippy in a couple weeks if I kept playing at this pace, probably much sooner if I found a new 'home base' and stored the viper to invest in Trading

I never have any results planned. But I do need to make sure I got some 16M credits ready for A thrusters before the batman comes.

Here i am a week later!
Not only did i manage to get a type-9!
I got enough to sell the type-9 for a shiny, mighty Anaconda!
Finally my dream has come true :)

Either A-class my Asp, or garner enough cash to kit out an extreme exploration Asp depends how flash with the cash I feel when I hit 10 million (not enough for either but if I spend it on thrusters, then I know where I'm going).

Just working for the last two A class bits for my Asp (power plant and shields) but in no hurry - could buy them now but I like to have a bit of working cash just in case. Otherwise waiting to see what FD come up with in terms of additional ships before I buy another. Want to see if they come up with something better than an Asp purely for exploring before I go out there again.
