Where is the Empire!!!!?

I'm just wondering where can I find the Empire controlled systems? I've been playing the game for 2 weeks now and I still haven't found the Empire.

It's the area around Achenar. If you want to see the whole area of influence, open the Galaxy Map, go to View, and check only the Empire in the Allegiance filter. Zoom out a little bit, and all the highlighted dots represent Empire turf.

Thanks for the replies. It seems I will have to travel a long way before I can enter Empire controlled space. I'm forced to go to the Empire because somehow the Federation is unfriendly towards me, it seems you get punished very hard when they find out that you have illigal cargo when you enter stations.

No don't just do it for that. Being unfriendly means they won't attack you but you will get interdicted by the police which is annoying. If you keep on trading/bounty hunting/doing missions for them it will be back in neutral in no time.

Yeah I prefer not to go to the Empire, but I heard it takes a awful ong time before you get your rep back to neutral. So I keep my fingers crossed in the hope they will take me back.

Take it as an opportunity - fit a discovery scanner and earn some credits with it while en route to Empire.
