I got a mission to free slaves, I go to a station "Tuan Point" in my current system "Hors" which according to the Map is supposed to sell slaves, no bloody slaves on the menu anywhere! So I look on the Galaxy map trade section, and search for Imperial Slaves, which are the only ones listed, Nothing anywhere! What gives? Are there no slaves in this game to actually buy? I can search for most anything else, and it shows up if I zoom out a bit, but not a cracker, looking for slaves, which are a mission priority?

Anarchies usually sell Slaves. I like those hand in missions, I keep a small supply of spaces with me at all times just for those missions.

Indeed they are nice, especially when they pop at stations that sell slaves. Easy money.
Eh those missions have 130 hour timers, that's over 4 days, plenty of time to find them.

The point being is the YOU needed the forum because you gave up in game. The point of the mission is that SOME in game would know where to get slaves. For example I did, and I didn't have to go to the forum since I had visited anarchy systems.
you know there's a difference between the two, yes? if the briefing asks for Slaves, which it usually does for that type, Imperial Slaves won't be suitable
there is/was also a glitch in that mission type - maybe it has been fixed in a patch, but i am unwilling to try them again until i am certain it has been addressed - you would be offered an alternative, a buyer for your Slaves, instead of setting them free. as soon as that occurred, the original course of setting them free was no longer available. that entry would no longer appear in the bulletin board, so you had to either sell them on the black market or to the buyer, costing you rep and also opening a 'getting right with the law' path.

I found systems that sell slaves and my local station offered me several Free slaves missions.
But how will the space station security react if bring back slaves from such a mission?
Since slaves are on the prohibited list of that station im thinking I will get melted by the station defense system upon return?
