I was reading the first Wisimir book (until my Kindle broke) and I was enjoying it, it is a good read. I certainly recommend it if you enjoy the sword & sorcery genre.
If I can find the file from a Kindle app and Calibre it across to my Nook (Kindles suck), and if I ever finish the Game of Thrones books, then I'll give it a bash... thank you.

You should be able to download from Amazon.com, at least? At least my Kindle is served from there. Unless, of course, you have got yours from Amazon.de?I can't download from Amazon, because I live in Holland.

You can always convert it with Calibre...Drat! I don't have a Kindle![]()
You can always convert it with Calibre...
Or get the kindle app for your smartphone. I use it on my iphone/ ipad. Much better than ibooks.
Beware! It's a con! The book is so good that as soon as you finish you'll immediately want to buy the sequel![]()

And yet one thing I found nagged at me, it kept tripping me up, and it was the use of real world language or swearing. Somehow reading people swearing in English, just snaps me out of the scene every time! I found this annoying and it stopped me reading further.
And I must support this decision as well. It is better to show than tell, after all (rather than say "he cursed", you actually show him doing it - it makes the whole thing stronger and more focussed). It has been said before, but it is worth pointing out some of the swear words are the oldest words in our language.
It is also a technique employed by other writers. I made a conscious choice owing to the lead taken by people like Joe Abercrombie.
