Seeking clarification on a post by Michael Brookes in a closed thread

Below is a quote from Michael Brooks in this thread: (Not sure how to do a quote across threads)

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=105117&page=13&p=1633276#post1633276

I have bolded the relevant line.

While the thread is closed I can post a few comments. We have no intention of preventing murder within the game, that is valid gameplay choice - however there should be consequences for such actions which the game needs some tightening on. For 1.1 the following changes will be in place which will help alleviate these situations:

- Dumbfire missiles are too overpwoered - these will be balanced down.
- Point Defense Turrets shouldn't be able to trigger station response
- Shield cells too powerful - these will be balanced down
- Docking will be revoked if you're marked as hostile by the station

We'll continue to monitor and balance as needed and discussion like this is useful for us - without the name calling of course!

Thanks

Michael

Just to confirm that this means that docking will be revoked if you commit a crime in the vicinity of the station, and that it has nothing to do to with being granted landing permission because the faction owning the station is hostile towards you or that you are wanted by the faction that owns the station?

Seems pretty clear cut to me. If the station marks you as hostile (ie: if you commit a hostile action either within the station or probably within the no fire zone) any docking permission you have will be revoked. This means that if you're inside the station at the time, the station will target you (probably after a countdown). Can still be used for griefing of course, just hide behind your griefing target in a bigger ship and watch the station take them out while trying to get to you.

Of course, from what he says there's nothing to stop you from simply requesting docking permission again, if you're still outside the station.
