Why that is not allowed? I was interdicted few times by some brave pirates(must be brainless to interdict a viper anyway), last days give up to interdiction smelling some fun, but thanks to forum advertisement more and more ppl is using dc.

saying more even one of forum best pvpers has escape from me using dc

so my request, pls allow for posting nick names, lets make a hall of shame, pls

or maybe we have to make it on facebook?

Report them. Wont last anyhow as it will end up being removed. For now however those who enjoy exploiting and cheating are getting away with it. However people who cant play a game without quitting when they lose tend not to last long anyhow. People who cant stand losing get bored of games fast and tend to move on to the next thing to indulge their consequence-free mentality.

Why not turn it on it's head and post names of those who fight and choose not to wimp out. A shout out to those that honour the game and actively make the Universe a better place. I don't see why the chickens should be mentioned.

It's just as easy to make stuff up to smear someone's good name or if enough of you club together you can make it believable too.

Post praise messages by all means :)

How do you know that these players are using the logoffski manoeuvre??

For all we know they have a flaky p2p connection/setup that means they drop out of instances without warning or whenever their connection is stressed by getting close to another player..

Should we name and shame for having a dodgy connection!?

Well as long as people on this forum continue to encourage and celebrate combat logging i'll support the idea.

Do it on Reddit or another platform if it violates forum rules.

What good would it do? Hundreds of thousands of people play Elite, and only a tiny number use the forums. No point getting angry dude, it's not worth it.

You got your answer but still disagree.

So what you are saying is we should have a false alligation list which will list all the players you believe do not play the game correctly...

OK, lets start with all the PK Squad members, then the grief players, then pvp dodgers (including every player in solo/group mode) Its going to be a pretty long list.

I am glad it will never get published as its just another excuse to label somebody.

I think the best thing you could do is play the game honestly and fairly without cheating or using game exploits. Once you are able to do that every day then you may be able to Cast the First Stone as they say

Just a screenshot and post suffices. People can decide from there what to judge.

i don't exploit or cheat myself since i don't combat log and i don't encourage others to do so.

Also there's nothing about "belief". Combat logging is the video game version of flipping over the chess board before you lose.

For all we know it was the OP having the flaky connection which wrongly led him to the conclusion that the other guy d/c-ed on him, while it was actually himself...
