Yeah, thats much better than FD improving the game in any way. Patches cancelled guys, Mellom got it all figured out.
I have actually been looking for griefers to hunt for bounties, haven't found any yet.
I think what the OP is getting at is that Griefers will always be there and it's a part of the Open Play.
Hence - dont like it, go Solo.
I don't think Greifing is an issue that needs to be resolved by FD. The idea of open/multiplayer is that people get to do what they want. Just be happy we dont all live in a post apocalyptic warzone, I have seen what people are like on DayZ.

I'm at a loss. The game is called Elite Dangerous, then when it gets dangerous, they complain.

Its true! "Dangerous" PVPers got mad when the trade ships starting biting back with the Python and cried about getting killed in uneven fights.
I'm down with anything to tone down the carebears at this forum.
A lot of people in the Elite community seem to have a different idea of what "griefing" is compared to what my knowledge and experience of it is. I guess this has a lot to do with the age group and possibly even the genre, both of which are likely less "harsh" than the majority of online gamers and games.
For me it's pretty simple. If somebody kills you in an equal contest, you lost to the better player.
If you get killed by somebody who has a vastly superior ship/character/whatever than your current one, get into your better ship/character/whatever and kill them back.
If they kill you over and over in their superior ship/character/whatever, it's griefing.
In ED's case, you can just go into solo mode. I don't really see how griefing is possible unless you bring it on yourself.

Most of the whine threads here seem to be coming from the griefers, not the carebears, but why let facts get in the way of a poor troll attempt.
