We of Universal Carthographics will be hosting a picture competition.
the goal of this competition is to fill the empty spaces in our the "galactic book of records" with pictures made by the exploring community

This competition will take part in two phases the first phase will be an open entry phase where picture will be selected to fill the pages inside, the second phase will be a poll where we will select the cover page photo by vote.
first phase
We will be accepting pictures for several different catagories to be placed in the books these catagories are:

Category: front page picture - CMDR Rukmerot
The pictures used will be selected by the universal carthographic staff and current record holders of the "galactic book of records"
This part of the competition will end at the 21st of february
For the second phase of the competition, the front page picture competition you can send in your entries until the 21st of February, the entries will then be looked at by our staff and record holders. The best 5 will be placed in a poll that will end the 28th of February and the winner of that poll will be the first official cover picture of the "galactic book of records"

- stars: pictures of stars
- planets: pictures of planets
- ringed stars: pictures of ringed stars
- ringed planets: pitures of ringed planets
- gas giants: pictures of ringed and non ringed gas giants
- binary stars; picctures of binary stars
- binary planets: pictures of binary planets
- black holes: pictures of black holes
- stations: pictures of stations
- nebula' s: beauty shots of nebula' s
- front page picture: for those pictures that just are to beautifull to catagorize and should end up on the front page
- Pictures need to be posted in this thread stating category and commander name.
- Photos need to be added in the post using a spoiler.
- commanders can only participate once per category.
- Commanders are free to change their entries till the 21st of February
