Am I doing this wrong?

Been flying a type 6, 100 tons of cargo space. This seems to be just about the max space I can get on the ship. The best I can find in around a 50ly range is a profit of 90K. Going to take a good while to upgrade to a type 7 are this rate. Is this around normal for a type 6 trade run or am I doing something wrong?

Why do you think it's wrong? How long does it take to make 90k? Do you want to get onto the Rare Trading hamster wheel instead?

typical type 6 trade route should be giving you around 1-1.5mil per hour normal trade, if your looking for some trade help and dont mind tools , Slopey ED Best Profit Calc is a great choice but what you want is a good returning profit , ie you earn profit going both ways, your looking for stations close to jump points for best profits per hour as the further they are from the jump point the longer it takes to get there. if you can get it the ideal trade route is 1 jump , both stations close to jump points and at least 2k profit per ton round trip, you can get upto 2.6k profit per ton round trip quite easy and even higher.

90k in 10 minutes is pretty reasonable. Sure you'll get more in a T-7 or T-9 but considering it will probably take more like 20 mins to make 90k from bounty hunting (depending on luck and other factors) I don't think this is too bad tbh.

Profit-making 101

For a commonly considered (or at least, for me) "good" trading route, we're looking at around 2000Cr per ton per round trip, and each round trip should take around 10 minutes. So if you're doing less than 200k Cr per round trip, you might wanna look elsewhere.

Due to the fact I must be blind, my question will just go here because I don't see an option to create a new thread.

I have 8 series cpu, sabertooth board and g1 gtx 970, ever since recent update either driver or game it runs choppy as hell. I have lowered the graphic to basic and can run sc no issues and I get 70 fps on mordor so what am I doing wrong? my rig should easily handle this game and did before
