Newcomer / Intro Tricked by a bad guy!

So I consider myself generally a good guy. I try to rid the galaxy of bad people to make it a good and safe place for good people.

But then I was at this bar and some really suspect guy steps in and offers me a drink and says he's got at job for me. Of course I should have trusted my better judgement but I guess he spiked my drink or something. Only thing I remember is getting a name and being told I have to kill him because he is causing all kinds of trouble. When I finally come to my senses I see a big explosion in front of my ship and a bounty pops on my info screen. Oh my god. I was tricked into killing an innocent! What have I done!

How do I get rid if this bounty?

Head to an Alliance controlled Outpost (not a station, they have security) and once docked pull up the Contacts menu. First option (believe it's Pilot's Federation) will allow you to pay it off.

Logging out to post this message and then back in seems to have remove my bounty. Could it be that it was all just a bad dream I wonder!

Awwwwwwww sorry mate.... my wife has just dressed up as a bartender and brought the Pilot a beer !! :) (another 205,678 Ls to Lee Enterprise so plenty of time for a sip !!! )

It's the correct info..... as always CMDR.... just a bug has crept in from early this morning UK time :(
