For those that have died like 1 or 2 times, what have you been doing? Something wrong in my book. You must be in solo and doing crosswords in between knitting!

Died once since gamma started, Sidewinder.

Group play, and nope, none of that risky crosswords business at all....just knitting.

I cleared my save several times when gamma started so I could find a decent starting system with plenty of good trade routes around me. I was amazed at how bad some of the starting zones were (stuck in a bubble).

Once I got a T7 I was unlikely to wipe. Now I'm 500 million into the game there is no going back... ever

My current character will just go on, will be the billionaire I use to test new toys and explore the galaxy in Open...

Eventually, I'll start a new character that will be a pirate, he'll be effectively "iron Man" mode pirate. I plan to use the skills I've gained playing to make the right choices in prolonging his life. I'm hoping I'll get him to... Well, whatever the top tier of the ranking system that (hopefully)comes up for pirates is.

I think it'll also be fun to see how quickly I can get a character from hero to hero once well equipped Cobras are the "bare bones" sidewinder of the ED world...

Until we have a proper Ironman mode, I've decided not to take the insurance option, unless I die due to a bug, glitch, or server lag. If I've got a ship in the system where I died, I can get that, but if not it's back to my starter system in a free sidewinder.

Other than that, I probably won't start a new Commander until we can have multiple commanders, or I get completely bored with Inga. I do have another idea for a Commander, but their story won't start until hers is finished.

Thank you. I was originally going to do it when the game went live, but I felt it made a better story to tie her liberation to that of Lugh's. Many bugs, two phantom civil wars, and the realization that liberating Lugh may, if the Dev team doesn't shorten the cool down timers, take months, I decided it was time. Inga wanted to go into battle, and ordering a slave into battle, no matter how willing, is something an honorable slave owner should not do.

Aye. You guys either are way better than me, or play it very safe in space. I have over 50 insurance claims now worth around 30 million lost.

Actually, I'm pretty bad - I just avoid unnecessary risk and only bite what I can chew (unless drunk). But how how can you possibly have over 50 insurance claims unless you constantly attack other CMDRs and misjudge the situation on a regular basis?
