I know there's no shortage of fan-made Elite-related audio features, but in case you're hungry for more the Elite Anthology authors are here to help! I present a new fiction-focused podcast: Comms from the Frontier. Episode 1 is available now, where we talk about what drew us to write for Tales from the Frontier:

Just editing episode two, and I've had to cut the following exchange:

Ramon: The only reason the Fer-de-Lance is so popular is because it wasn't in Frontier. That's why people want it so much.
Darren: Yeah, the old teasing trick. Mind you, the Cobra Mk III is like the ***** of the Elite universe. Every pilot has ridden her and they keep coming back for more.

Just, y'know, keeping the show family friendly :-/ Hopefully the new ep will be up tomorrow some time.

Like two guys in the pub... I loved his escape pod idea, and I am still intrigued to read these stories..

Good luck.. but a fantastic podcast.

We've had some feedback that episode 2 had a bit too much context-less discussion - chatter about stuff only us Anthology lot know. Having re-listened to the ep I'd rather agree, and we'll be endeavouring to not let that happen too much in future.

The next episode will be up on Thursday, centred around past Elite fiction, with Drew Wagar and Marko Susimetsa.

Guys loving the Podcast, such a pleasure to listen to, just the right length. any longer than what your doing and I would start to get bored.

Your in-line player and download button both seem to be in flash, meaning they don't work on mobile devices. Any chance you could just have the download link be in normal html?
