Newcomer / Intro Where did my ship go?

So I saved up my pennies and bought a T6. We went to Empire and wanted to impress the locals. They wanted guns, so I thought I'd buy a sidewinder rather than risk the expensive ship. All went fine, the locals are happy, but where did my ship go? Every station in the system shows it in Ship Locations, at 600ls range...

1) A screenshot might help
2) Sounds like a possible bug, if every system truly does show your ship as being present. Try quitting the game and re-launching.

You should be able to see an icon next to the station your ship is stored on the systems map. Otherwise it should be stored in the station you bought the sidewinder in.

Go to any planet with shipyard. Enter shipyard and will show you where your ship is stored.
If not there than maybe bug.

That just gives you the system doesn't it? To get the station I think you have to view the system map for the system the ship is in - there's an icon next to the station where it is stored - as Peter has already said above.

There is definitely a bug with ship location. I make it a point of writing down which systems my ships are stored because the ship location tab will show the wrong system.

Happened to me too!! - I fixed it by logging out and re-launching and it then correctly appeared in the correct station where I left it :)

This simple, less than a minute, fix seems to be the best thing to do if you encounter any graphical or GUI bug at the moment..... really should be great big , bold sticky at the top of this section to advertise this

The most famous IT phrase is in fact: 'Did you try to switch it off and on again?'
