I herd this awesome news about them on the way home from work on the radio this morning. So, Chris Roberts is back, David Braben is back, a new version of Oolite is on the horizon and the Clangers are returning too! :cool: Does life get any better than this? :D

I only just started playing Oolite today - Not bad I might say - but I already have docking station nightmares :)

You will soon get the hang of it Sparticus. Manual docking in Oolite just takes a bit of practice and is more forgiving than the original games were.

Ah that's okay then, it was just very surreal but so was a lot of stuff around at that time. Mr Ben, Bagpuss and the magic roundabout were all bonkers. I did like the Soup Dragon (good band as well!)

Let's do the time warp again...

Another thing from this period that is/has made a comeback is the board game Talisman.
Not sure how much crossover there would be for Elite fans but certainly for me has similar nostalgia factor.

Anything else from 1984 ?
