I would just like to say that, even though in the past I have been a pain about updates, your work is amazing .... After seeing a total mess and broken promises from other kickstarter projects ...you have proved that the system works.

your on target, delivering the game you promised and I for one would like to thank all of the Frontier team members for such a great experience in the build up to the greatest space game of all time.

And to the forum members, I think that ED has the friendliest and most informative members I have ever experienced .... I have not seen one "I hate when people ask this ... or that or the other"

So to sum up this post Elite Dangerous/Frontier Developments and the ED forums are awesome'o....

Sorry for the gush but it had to be said ...

Is it just to have one rather than it's use for Nav purposes as I imagine it'll be next to useless in a 3D system? Happy to be wrong though.

But it is so true, For example - if a new forum member posted here - "Where do I see the new dev diary?" or something of the like - they wouldn't be shot down with something like - "I hate when lazy people can't be bothered ...la..la..la ...why don't you google it yourself" unhelpful nonsense and downright rude responses which I have seen many times in pretty much every other forum.
On THIS forum that same person would helpfully be pointed in the right direction or given links and welcomed warmly to the forum.

I am honestly proud to be a member of this forum ...

and I'm only drinking tea right now:)

I can't count how many times i've been sent that 'shall i google that for you' links from cheeky %$^$%^ here!! :D

Completely agree with the OP. I've backed a number of other KS and only Limit Theory, Godus and this have actually kept in touch and given solid proof of progress. A lot of the others give very mean updates if any.

This has been the only KS project I have been involved with, partially because I knew it had been delivered once before - with Elite.

I, too, agree with the O.P. apart from one very minor point. Given the game, I wonder if the title of the thread should be:

We, who are about to die, salute you. :eek:

When you remember how FD was criticized of the lack of update during KS campaign ... :)
I've always had confidence in FD :cool:
