C64 Screen Size Smaller than I Remembered

OMG OMG OMG - my parents found my Elite Boxed set - so I have set it up to a 50" digital TV via a VCR then AV Out from that :) - and I still have my trusty 1701 Monitor :)

No I do not play a lot of games - that is not a PS2 on the left - and not a PS3 on the table.

And to the Socks thread - I have bare feet again - as you can see both my cast and space captain boot in the corner - well now to bring back some memories :D

Wow, C64 brings back some old memories. Never owned one but many of my friends had one. Even used to borrow one of the new types from a friend of mine. He borrowed our NES hehe. I played choplifter while he went all out on silent service :p Is that a 14" monitor or. I remember I had a Goldstar 14" monitor with my first pc. A 486 Dx66. Amd. It cost me 1000£ almost 20 years ago. First time I see C64 Elite on a 50" :)

Fantastic post.

I still play my C64 version and at times on the original hardware too........ LOVE Elite......(just look at my sig.........those are all the versions I own) :)

There are times I wish I still had my 48k Speccy and the games. Oh and a tape player of course. :rolleyes: :D

I only have - C64, First Encounters: PC, Oolite - and a great big anticipation for ED :D

Nice! I miss some of the good old games as well, you know the ones that actually had gameplay in them and not just flash graphics.

Sorry to quote myself - but some may ask - how can your wife allow this in the lounge room - my answer - :D She left me 2 yrs ago - and I became a kid again :D :D

I was a Speccy/C64/Amiga man but got exposed to other systems at the time such as the VIC20, C16 and the +4. Those were the days. <sigh>

I had forgotten the Vic 20 - a friend had 1 - and We used to play some sort of real time flight simulator on it - I cannot remember what it was called now... Lear Jet or something like that...
