Not happy

While in a seeking good instance i got near the lakon 9 to scan it and got rammed and my 15Mil+ asp(with upgrades) got destroyed. Basically I didn't have enough to cover my losses and have to go back to the sidewinder. Seriously there should be an option to have a more aggressive percentage off earnings to pay off bigger loans etc

Why i keep saying in all these threads that we need to be able to prepay insurance before we undock ( think eve online ) that would save 20 of these threads a day where someone forgot insureance. Well sorry to hear about yorue lakon 9, on the bright side u now have a reason to keep playing to get all the credits back to get yaself a new ship

I worked crazy hard since christmas to get that far and i just feel too jaded to go back to square one for a long time especially for something that wasn't my fault.

I'm sure that you heard this in your head when you wrote this, but: it was your fault for flying a ship you can't afford to get back in the case of disaster.

I would say i feel your sympathy.....but I dont. I have an Asp 20 mill+ and always fly with insurance. Short cuts lead to long delays.

People might help you out with a few tons of cargo for you to scoop up - but personally I'd be too afraid that coming in contact with a cargo container would destroy my ship at the moment.

I don't understand why people don't keep their old ships. The credits invested are negligible compared to the next larger ship, and if you happen to blow up your Asp you can at least go back to your Cobra/T6/Viper.

But in the end it's just like in real life: If you don't have stuff insured you don't get it replaced. Plain and simple.

This is the best advice. Keep other ships. I'm basically hoarding ships all over the galaxy - one Hauler with 30ly jump range in my starting system (so I can get back to the bigger ships FAST in case of ... catastrophic dumbness on my part) and the rest stuffed into a station on some Hightech world.

Hmmm. new challenge. Sidewinder in every station. On your Marks, get set, go............

That's crazy man ... If only FD would build in some safety measures for us Cmdr's, something like insurance, yeah that's it ... hey FD please add an insurance policy into the game please, you know, one that allows us to re-buy our ships if we have enough credit saved, that would be a great help, thanks FD.

SCNR (Sorry, could not resist)
It must really suck to lose it all. Some sympathy here.
I just wish I'd get a Euro for everyone who comes to the forum because he flew without insurance...

You did not save enough money for insurance AND you did not thought it would be a good idea to get out of the way when a T9 approaches you. How did you make it to the Asp?
