Newcomer / Intro Questions from a new pilot

Greetings, everyone!

This is my 2nd day with E and I'm a pretty happy camper. I'm an EVE Online player and with that in mind, I have to say that the manual nature of this game is pretty awesome. Flight, Guns, Warp, Stargates, Stations, it's so nice to be liberated from all the Automatic processes.

Anyway, there's just a few things I wanted to ask about while I'm stuck at work.

Item Handling:

• Are all items the same size?
• Is there no storage outside your ship?
• What happens to the Modules I replace when I upgrade them?
• Is there NO market involving players?

Other Question:

• Is there a way to Bookmark locations or systems?

Coming form EVE, I'm just a bit baffled by how items are handled. I'm used to massive stores of items/ships, and now it seems I can't own an item outside of my ship, lol.

To end on a positive note, I have to say how blown away I am at the size of the Galaxy, I legitimately never thought New Eden could possibly seem small! However, my jaw hasn't felt the same since being relocated.

let me get these.

Do you mean for cargo? I believe so yes. for attachments no.
nope not at this time, im not even sure if they are planning that.
generally they get sold back to the station to offer an discount on the purchase.
and no other than writing the name down.

Are all items the same size?

Yes. But at some point, we'll get passenger cabins to transport less willing passengers (read: slaves) and those that pay to get from A to B, in a variety of classes.

Is there no storage outside your ship?

No.

What happens to the Modules I replace when I upgrade them?

They get sold for whatever you payed for them. What you pay for a new module is the difference between old module and new module.

Is there NO market involving players?

Yes and no. You as one single merchant won't put much of a dent into anyones economy, unless you got a big ship and you trade with a small outpost. Several players working together on the other hand, can make a significant difference.

Is there a way to Bookmark locations or systems?

Yes - Third party app. Mine is a spreadsheet in OpenOffice that also contain a lot of other information about the systems I've visited.
