Greetings commanders, today is the day WE, the bounty hunters, kick back those pirate scum (thanks for making the game interesting pirate scum, <3 ) back to their anarchy systems !
Bring your videos, your takedowns, your rescues ! Bring them here, and put the price that WAS on their head !

Contrary to what it appears, the bounty on this fella wasn't a mere 48K, but a very nice ~3.3 M (strangely dispersed in a few rare selling stations... mmmh.)
I didn't do what I should have done and use the Clipper's agility and speed at first but PVP does that to me, it brings the bloodthirsty adrenaline pumping idiot that ends up with no shields and full of rage (as in, the good rage, the one that kills your enemy...)

Good fight, I enjoyed watching that 10/10 for both combatants a pretty good rumble though expresses well my current feeling that the clipper is the most threatening ship

im not sure they underestimated it as much as people don't fly them combat that often, currently it is the only large ship thats faster than small ships that is a huge deal as its the only ship currently where if you aren't evenly matched you can't just leave.

A band of traders are trying to work out a way to get you guys paid for nailing pirates - or at least keeping them off our tails! We'd rather pay policing than extortion!

THIS. I'll happily meet up with fighters at the Nav point who can provide protection against pirates, drop you some palladium for the trouble.

Good fight I was watching Tigga's stream when this happened, props to both combatants good show!!

He was wondering what took his shield down so fast about half way into the fight, it was that point blank double cannon shot.

Well, I can NOT say no to such an offer, especially since 10% Hull damage on the Clipper is 100K in repairs :p
I'll be flying around in Yembo, hail me if the offer still stands.

Nice kill! Can I ask what control method you're using there? Whenever I see a video like this where people are simultaneously manoeuvering and using headlook I kinda wonder how they're doing it (assuming it's not Occulus - which maybe it is?). With my current joystick setup I have headlook on the main stick (with a headlook toggle button press). I use my primary thumbstick (i.e. without any other button pressed) for vertical/lateral thrust which kinda rules that out as an option.

Wasn't the cannons, I would have said he swapped off 4 pips shields while coming close for the kill and the end result is shields from full to gone in ~3s, the cannons were just the final shot, thats class 3 weaponry for you! Its actually not a bad loadout to run for pvp as 2 beams aren't too greedy but give you plenty of oomph.
