How the hell is it possible that an ASP mass-locks a Type-9 Heavy ? Are you guys kidding or something like that ? I mean, there are like 700 tonnes difference between both ships, do you realise that this is ridiculous ? FDev, fix this please, seriously...

The Asp has mass, therefore it mass-locks. The difference in mass between the ships is irrelevant.

No. "Has mass, therefore mass locks" is not the reason the Asp mass locks the type 9.

As per this post, each ship has an assigned mass lock parameter.
Asp - 18;
T7 - 18;
Clipper - 18;
T9 - 18; :eek:
Dropship - 20;
Anaconda - 24; again :eek: as Anaconda is the lightest of them all except for the Asp.

A ship with a particular mass lock value can only mass lock a ship with an equal or lower mass lock number.

I think you missed something, after mass lock text, it shows a factor number just because you are 'mass locked' by a ship does not mean it will do so as effectively as something else, an ASP can probably affect and slow your charging more then if it wasn't there.
But you aren't fully mass locked like if it is a station.

My Conda doesnt know what mass lock is...

But my clipper gets mass locked by a Hauler: Mass locked factor 4....Wait what ?
