Interdict Jammer required...

I guess because they put in the interdiction "mini-game" they consider that a way of avoiding/escaping interdiction so a jammer's not required.

Also, because if people COULD just fit something to the ship that meant no interdictions, pirating and bounty hunting would become far less viable career options within the game.
 
Most people probably wouldnt use it, only T7's T9's. Everyone else looks forward to an interdiction. A bit of pew pew and some unexpected credits on a trade run. Also as Llyander says it would cripple pirates and BH.
 
I could see a "jammer" as a tool, personally I'd not use one though - I like to shoot things into smithreens. But it could be nice for those who don't.
 
I would expect it to be balanced so in the game it wouldn't be 100% effective

No countermeasure is!

But in the real world every weapon has a counter...

Perhaps simply a autopilot feature to assist your evasion like docking computer?

I was considering the same thing today, but having a module that let's you evade interdiction is a bit overkill. It'd be cool if you could drop a heatsink during an interdiction to gain a higher chance of escape.

So? Honestly why should it all be in their favour?

its a good idea for a trade ship only item make it expensive and and a power draw they need to IMHO have items to equip each specific class things that help that class for instance a trade computer that helps you decide where to go to trade and for combat craft more specific internal moduals to help combat maybe improved thrusters or weapons at the moment the equipment list is far to generic

This. Gameplay beats QTA everytime.
 
There is already an interdiction jammer, it's called winning the interdiction minigame.
Now, I could get behind a FSD jammer.
 
Don't think I've managed to avoid even one interdiction out of about 20 since latest patch, I just throttle down now, it needs to be adjusted just a tad imho, or else I shall break my joystick.

Yep or chaff... this all just seems a little stacked in the wrong direction and YES it's hard on the stick!!!
