does founders have the clipper ?

Look i could be wrong, but i am pretty sure it does have the clipper, i didn't buy mine there though, but i think i remember seeing it there.

I thought I could go to founders for a cheap clipper. I was wrong, wasn't stocked, neither was the dropship.

It may have changed since then but I doubt it

When I was there last time I was pretty sure they had it but you still need the appropriate rank of Baron with Empire to be able to buy. But in case I am wrong there is an Empire system not too far distant from there.

If the faction ships are not there though it seems a little strange as I think I have seen opposite faction ships in both Federation and Empire systems.

You won't find faction-specific ships at independent stations, though it would be nice if they made Founder's World an exception since the Pilot's Federation seem like a resourceful bunch.

Im with you but I dont see how the could make it fit with the purchase restrictions.

Pilot: Hey independantly aligned station, I'd like to buy this Clipper.
Station: I need to check your a Baron in another factions jurisdiction.
Pilot: Do you want the money or not?
Station: Come back when your an Imperial Baron.

Just doesnt gel well
