Best DK2 Demo I've played

Hey,

Not strictly a ED thread but a Sci-Fi themed VR one.
A Kickstarter for the Apollo 11 VR Experience was launched the other day and i am proud to have backed it.
They have a FREE downloadable DK2 demo showing the sort of thing they intend to create with the funding, and I am quite happy to go on record saying that despite that fact that it is only a rough demo, it is quite simply the best DK2 Demo i've ever seen (Not counting ED as it isnt a demo but a fully fledged kick ass game!).

Anyway, the demo (and Kickstarter) can be found HERE, and you dont need to be a backer to download it.

Another one I heard some "noise" about was Technolust. It's on the Riftenabled website. (Game demo)

A few years ago NASA was looking for people to make games for them. They should be all over this project.

The demo makes me want it more interactive with leap motion support so I can flip some of those switches

It would be cool to be able to have a guided experience of different types of missions where you perform the main tasks like lunar landings and experiments with guidance from mission control.

Looks great, 10 euro for something you will go through twice is a bit steep, but I will propably back it anyway. Maybe I will charge my friends for a ride and get my money back this way

Why am I having no success running this demo? I can hear it but cannot see it in the rift. Downloaded, unzipped, hit the direct to rift exe even though using extended readme says that should work. Too many beverages last night or something.

Do i need the older runtimes to do this? I only have the latest

Nope I have the latest run times for mine.

The demo is DK2 only, although the finished project is going to be compatible with them all, so we are told anyway.
I have my Rift mode set to Extended and I ran the Demo on extended also.
(I did have to disable a few of my monitors in order to get it to show in the correct place however)

I switched OR to direct and run direct exe and no problem. Also the latest OR runtime.

The best DK2 demo for sure is Elite Dangerous, hope they will some day make a full game out of it

I am using a DK2 and I can hear the sound I was thinking maybe a res problem or need to make it pri? My sys is working so well right now with ED I don't want to touch anything no what I mean?
