1300 light years out and the last 50 or so systems were all the wrong type of stars to refuel at, I didn't think I'd have to go that far without finding a star that wasn't a dwarf. 5 more jumps left, what a waste. Live and learn I suppose. :eek:

Well, i have noticed a "bug" you can "exploit" in that situation.

I was at 75% when the scoopable stars ran out.

This is my first time seriously exploring. At first I was taking the fastest routes but wised up pretty quickly when scoopable stars started thinning out.

Doing that now.

I'm looking at stars that I know are scoopable and comparing the ones around me. Looks like I have about 35 light years worth of fuel left. Couldn't find any G-type stars so I'm trying to figure out what other star types will work.

Believe me, I don't want to blow up my Asp. :)

There are scoopables quite close to you then. Don't give up yet, if you've got 5 jumps in the tank you should be fine.

(Use the new Star Type filter to look for scoopable classes - O,B,A,F,G,K and M)

OOCHOST SK-C D14-9 should be about 11ly away and has an F8 star.

That really helps, heading there now. Lots and lots of t-type stars in this sector.

Sure i read a dev post some time back that they planned on introducing a mechanic so other players can help if you run out of fuel.
