Starport disappeared

I'm aware of Jaques, of course - but at least one other starport has also moved.

I've just returned from a hunting spree to my quiet little backwater trading run between portX at starY, and portA at starB - only to find, with 200T of PEs to sell at portA, that portA is no longer in the starB system.

Are we now going to have to check system maps every time to ensure that starports are still where they used to be?

Did I miss a list of what's been moved?

And, just wondering, why were any of them moved at all?

On a second look, I see that NONE of the original starports / outposts are there, and the ones that are there are all new!

Haha sorry Anton mate i was joking obviously you don't know.

Can't help i'm afraid, unless you can remember which planet the station was at your just going to have to visit every station in the system until you find the right one. The station shouldn't have been moved, only renamed.

Hate to say it, but even if you find the new station, the market is gonna be different.

The bug was that changing a major faction owning a system caused all randomly-generated stations to be recreated with new names and new markets. Going forward that won't happen, but they won't change back the current stations to prior ones.

Thanks for that. I accept that market prices can change - annoying though, because a lot of previous carefully collected market data is now suspect, if not entirely useless.

I wouldn't be able to recognise the old station anyway - they don't have any memorable individual features, mostly.

I really hope they stop mucking us about like this, though.

Sadly i don't think they will. Sure the stations might not change again but its obvious to everyone playing the game that alot of things need to change, and there will always be victims of that.
This one did seem remarkably senseless though.
