Just finished a long combat session in my Asp, 1M Cr bond in the pocket, expenses are MC ammo, 2SCB, several chaff, 1% hull integrity due to the long travel to Matteucci.
Lesson learned: I am putting pulse turrets on the C2 and outer C1 slots, inner C1 are dual gimballed pulse lasers, will set them to fire at will to maximise tagging multiple enemies at the same time as capital ship got most of them. Also doubling my 3A SCB, with luck my loiter time will be infinite (or until I got bored).
Jesus. I think in future any staff member adding or "designing" a community goal should be forced to play it all day for 3 days straight.
Doesn't seem to affect everyone though. Does this happen only in Banki? I returned some bonds to that other system and didn't notice any rep loss (or gain actually).
No. All I know about B1's is that they wear pajamas and are often seen coming down the stairs with similar thinking B2's.Also, knew a dude with callsign Spork who was familiar with B1's. That's not you is it?
I've been battling in Banki off and on for over a week. Before the 1.1 update the influence wouldn't budge. Last time I looked last night, the Federation's Gold Advanced Partners were easily beating the Gold Gang. But I'll probably be back there later tonight to help make sure victory is ours
And I've also been having issues with Federation conflict zone missions decreasing my Federation influence and Gold Advanced Partners influence. I can go to the conflict zone and choose sides with success, but I won't even touch the conflict zone missions.

Anyways, there's a link to a video of my exploits in one of the Banki conflict zones in my sig below for anyone interesting in seeing lots of things that go boomThe Gold Gang probably believes I am the Grim Reaper at this point

You are doing missions for Banki Gold Gang. Station is controlled by them, so any mission counts rep for that faction, even if you kill them in warzone. Doesn't take long to figure out.
Just do combat bonds only, no missions and you will be fine.
Is it just me or are the high intensity zones much easier than low intensity?
In the low intensity zones I'd often end up out numbered or the only faction ship around and having to flee. In high intensity I can just hang around the capital ship with 2 pips to shields and 4 pips to weapons 95% of the time. Enemies are vastly outnumbered and killed much faster.
I guess it would be a different story if you were the opposing side to the capital ship but I expected high intensity zones to be more difficult.
Hmmm... that's good to know. I was thinking about doing Federal Congress missions at the Abraham Lincoln station to increase Federal Congress influence there, but that apparently won't work.

Maybe I missed this but in the BD system once you rack up your combat bonds do you cash them in at Hudson Station or do you have to jump out to Khasri and cash those in to Matteucci Station in order to count for the goal?
So far I cashed in about 120k in bounties in Hudson station and it did nothing toward progressing my tier level on the community goal. And yes I did sign up with the Federal agent at Matteucci station.
it looks like we need to cash our bonds at matteucci terminal.
i made the same mistake yesterday and cashed at hudson, no progression towards the goal, today i tried khasiri and it worked.
dat 50k ly tho... :|
I'm in BD+03 2338 but can't see any warzone spot in navigation panel. Am I missing something ?
I have been playing the Khasiri goal the last days.
I am beginning to think about switching to solo. Not because kills go to other players from time to time. That is something I like.
But:
Why do my team mates accept stray shots just fine, as long as they are NPCs and as soon as it is a player, a single bullet makes the radar go completely red? We are fighting for a common goal, but the game punishes it.
Every time, I see that happen to another commander, I do not fire on him, but let him escape to rejoin the team.
Unfortunately, other player do not mind shooting their former team mates. But they should know, you will not receive a bond for killing a former team mate (as far as I know).
Something probably just snaps in their brain and they start shooting while screaming "They should learn how to check their fire! Like meeeeee!" and then when it's over they just have a blank spot in their memory wondering where their fellow player went.
