Newcomer / Intro 90 minutes and zero fights

why dont i have an issue with the feds making my credit take reduced? the feds are always in my fights and help me easily destroy targets. I usually get around 12-15k per bounty. there are times when i get just 600 credits....i have no clue why but its happened once or twice.

What weapon load out are you using? Energy weapons are better against shields but poor against hull. Multi cannons are best against hull. If you are just using lasers then hulls can take a lot longer to destroy.

Currently 2xpulse + multi. GimbalEd. I think I will try 1x beam + 2x multi.
A question, I have only seen f grade class 1weapons for my eagle. Is that It?

Hello Dodo76,
3) The MCG will aim itself at the subsystem (better sensors gives better subsystem aiming accuracy). Focus on aiming the lasers at the subsystem. I think the Asp in an example of only hit-able from one side so make sure you try ans stay on the right sIde.

Weapon grading is based on the type of weapon, the size, and weather it's fixed or gimballed. So a Class 1 fixed pulse laser will always be F rating. A class two of the same type will be E.
Basically there is only one rating for each type and size, you won't find better ratings of the same weapon.

What am I to do to kill some wanted people?
I thought RES was every single asteroid field? I sat at one for 30 minutes. Not a single idiot. I was hunting in Eravate system. Then I went for the nav beacon. Same there.

So now to first question, will I have to interdict to catch wanted people?
I Was hoping it wasn't so. That's were second question comes, how the h*ll do you keep the target in line???? I failed so miserably I was wondering how everyone can say this is a good way to start earn money?
I traded 100k in my first 3 hours. Now as a bounty hunter I did 0k in 1.5 hours. I read it to be so much more fun as a bounty hunter....

I never had problems killing stuff. Not even when I started out in a Sidewinder with puny fixed lasers.

In general Nav beacons are not very interesting for bounty hunting as far as I am concerned.
I earned a lot of money in asteroid fields with resource extraction going on. It depends. When it is quiet just jump out and jump in again. When you are lucky you will get a bunch of Cobra pirates with bounties of 17k to 20k or above. You can take 'm out just fine in a Sidewinder. It it profitable and great fun.

Im using mouse and keys. But the killing has started. Just need to find some higher wanteds. Will try to search for those metal planets with rings...
