I tried buying A rated thrusters. No discount on outfitting.

I am more interested in getting to know what the global award is supposed to be.
I didn't notice anything special after I completed the mission. I received my money and that's it.
If that's everything one receives then that was my first and last community mission. I could have made millions in the time I invested.
But due to all the players buying at the same stations, profit was very low.

No feedback whatsoever. Went to Yembo to 'turn in' the mission, it had already disappeared.
I would have liked to seen a summary of total tonnage delivered (mine and the mission total), a ranking would have been good - all I know was that I was probably in the top 5%. The outcome, would the station be built and, if so, what size of station.
I feel entire dissatisfied with carrying out this mission - FD need to employ someone who know about communicating with the gamers inside the game. I'm getting far more satisfaction in the EDC Campaign to depose the ruling faction of a system and replace it with our own choice.

The global award can vary I believe, but it was stated on the community event page. In this case I believe it was a discount on outfitting (ramping up as tiers were met). One of the global awards in beta was a percentage reduction in costs of certain commodities. What they are seems to depend on the nature of the goal itself, the aforementioned one being for something that was more of a drive for aid to those in need.
If there's no rundown afterwards I suspect it will come in a later iteration.

<Sigh> I hope I didn't spend my afternoon yesterday just so I could get a measly 15k and 5% off of fuel/repairs at a station I'm not likely to return to anytime soon...

Another game mechanic poorly thought through and badly implemented before its ready.... Starting to see a pattern here......................
And yet what is the problem, this doesn't strike me a something that should be too difficult or labor intensive to implement, its just data manipulation and text presentation. Hell give me one decent programmer and a couple of days to work on it and i'm sure we could get something more imaginative working. Surely it cant be that difficult.
