Conflict zones (combatbonds) still waaay subpar

So? All I know that Combat Bonds goes from being useless (3k per kill lol) to being viable as an alternative income stream to trading rares. Which is an improvement for the combat pilots as they now can get at least a good combat Asp within reasonable timeframe. They can even get a Clipper hull within reasonable time (outfitting it is another matter).

Re-read my original OP. I want conflict zones to be viable at the high end spectrum too.

I still earn about 20% of what I earn in my Anaconda on a VERY saturated market (11.k Cr/t/hr, 600 CMDR trading from the same stations), which is just 5% off your target of a QUARTER.

1. Most combat zones I've seen don't have cap ships, even the high intensity.
2. This isn't really combat, it's cheese. Yes, you can ally with the cap ship and make a lot of money (and get to Elite) fast, but it's certainly not what most people think of when they want to go do some combat.

Frankly, combat bonds should be increased a lot, but then also prorated by the amount of damage dealt. If you did 0.5% of the damage to a target, you should get 0.5% of the reward from killing it. That also solves the problem of divvying up combat bonds to multiple CMDRs attacking a target and bringing it down together.

The currently advertised high intensity conflict zones (via community goals) have cap. ships.

Decide what you want? You want to combat "correctly"? Currently that does not pay. You want to combat with some cheddar for that upgrades you've been coveting? It pays in spades.

Which I still think you're lying about.

So you use cap ships to get credits.. that's not even proper, you know actual combat and blowing up your own target, combat which you claim to do for fun.
If you want to cheese your way with credits, why not just do it properly in your Anaconda and get 6x the amount?

Spades? Rofl yeah right. I'll humour you again and say you're getting 1mil/hr, trading nets you 6mil/hr minimum - which is considered low. You know that, others with T9's/Anacondas know that. The average is more 7-8mil/hr. My currrent mainstay trade route gives me 7.5 mil/hour.

But say we ignore the data, you're seriously telling me that what we got now is really ok with you? C'mon....

Good for you. My 11.5k Cr/t/h route is as I said saturated, I am too lazy to move, and others are actually moving. I am in game now and it's actually improved due to other commanders leaving, to 13k/t/h. You expect everyone to know 3k/t route with 1 jump T-9 under 400Ls routes? I thought we're talking AVERAGE. The average consider 2k/t GOOD!

Again, my techniques are not a secret, they are shared here in the forums. I find out about the cap. ship thing from the thread on the 1st guy that reached combat elite. Back then the 3k/kill bond does not interest me, so after they up the reward & they promise 15% discount (good selection of modules in Khasiri, I can lower my insurance + liquidate some asset for cash to boot), I bit and go. Read a thread about Banki on the long trip due to station distance and people are saying that the Cap. Ship thing still works, so I did it. Which is pretty much what those in the top leaderboard doing.

It's ok by me because I roll with it. Going all huff and puff for a game is not worth it.

Edit: Added pic. The goal is reached 2 days early. Not bad for 6 combat session, each between 40 min-1 hour. 1 billion Cr. total

And both of those things need fixing. The whole capital ship thing is obviously not the way warzones were intended to be played and borders on exploiting. Realistically, the game absolutely shouldn't award squat for doing something useless for the war efford.

Sure fix them. Anything to stop combat only pilots moaning.
