Respect to you stalwart Python owners!

Medium pad is a huge advantage especially in trade, with the clipper (which i fly) you effectively lock yourself out of over half the game.
I think people underestimate the significance probably because 'their personal run' is from station to station or they only use it in combat.
Also the stock Clipper is only 176T unless you downgrade the shields in class and then you make it very under strength like a Lakon T6/7.

Also is it a bit weird looking at your headless pilot body?

It is weird in the beginning, but if it doesn't feel weird it's a waste of my time.

There are some youtubers slowly picking it up such as Obsidian Ant.

His choice of HUD colours is a widely known cause of retinoblastoma, but he has pleasant native english voice comments and he moves his head really slowly.

Show off.

I wan't one of those, so bad - going to wait for the retial release, honest, must resist.

Sir, like I you appear to be a man of means and far superior to the usual rabble which infuse the area with their stench. It is fitting for your station to enjoy your experience to the fullest. Cost is no object when pleasure is on the line.

I still like my Python...

And when it comes to speed...
Well, when I switch from i.e. my Cobra or Viper to it - it does feel a tad slow.
But when I switch from my Type-9 to it - it feels like a speedboat :D

So for all intents and purposes - I'm perfectly fine with it, got nothing to complain about :)
Wouldn't take it out of the Dock without its Class 4A Fuel Scoop though.

PS.
I still kinda miss either
- a Class 2 Gimbal Burst Laser
- a Class 3 Gimbal Multicannon http://www.falconfly.de/img/chatt.gif

On the Fuel issue :
Just reading the Description of Hydrogen Fuel in the Commodity Market...
IMHO our Fuel should cost about 90-120 Cr/ton, depending on the Hydrogen Fuel price at the locaton. Regardless of ship flown. No exception, period. Because they all run off that very Hydrogen Fuel.
Anything else doesn't make any sense. But - this being ELITE - it isn't the only thing that doesn't make sense, so for the time being we got to live with that and equip those rides accordingly...

Additionally, packing up on some tons of Hydrogen Fuel into the Cargo bay could (and IMHO should) also serve as an optional Range-extender...
Would put that Commodity to some use after all (honestly : when was the last time you hauled Hydrogen Fuel around for trading purposes? Did you ever?).

I did it once, honest. In a Hauler for a Fuel fetch mission - It's the only time I've ever seen the station not stock fuel locally.

I wanted to find something else to do other than exploring until they fix the goddamn awful sound issues that have plagued so many of us since 1.1.
So I spent a couple of days ranking up to get the Clipper unlocked, fitted it out A grade, and ditched it 2 days later. I liked it to fly, quite maneuverable for it's size, but the crazy fuel usage, coupled with poxy size fuel tank drove me nuts. Having to scoop every other jump tried my patience very quickly.
That and the Large pad requirements made it a major no no.
Tis purdy tho :)
Python wins, hands down.

This ships performance surely doesn't justify the cost.. I'm waiting on the second balancing pass that they spoke of.. when will that happen? My Anaconda is more maneuverable.
