Station only jumps during downtime. Yeah you'd be left behind.

Just remembered the station is meant to sell a rare commodity, a portable still. How does that work with no market?

Yes, I sold all my Witchhaul-Zeesze rares there on Thursday morning. I'd been banking on it moving somewhere remote during the 7am reboot and thereby vastly increasing the value of my rares but it didn't move, so I sold them anyway, then it moved later on in the day :mad:

I really think there ought to be advance notice of when it's going to move (yeah yeah, I know it moves during a reboot but ... which reboot?).

I also bought 1T of its own rare alchoholic beverage which I've left floating in space for R4 to find on his way back :)

Sounds like its commodity market must have fallen out the back when it jumped - Jaques need to do a little less bar tending and little more looking after his station!

Still recon there should be a few (special) platforms in the very outer reaches of space... Few and far between, but still a few!

eg: Exploration/observation platforms. Maybe have related special missions?

Jacques would be a good place for community goals. Small ones obviously. When the station is way out in the unknown it will need raw materials. There could be mining and other stuff.

Give explorers a break for a time.

I dunno, I think I just expected, well something!

It was big news item and new bit of “content”, I expected maybe some kind of bar-room atmosphere, somewhere to pick up missions, or buy drugs and get into fights. It is supposed to be a bar right? All I saw was a station which did not contain much, and not much to look at either.
The only thing it does is move once a week.

No repairs available, no refuel. No idea about rearming. Its just a base for selling UC data. Not what I expected. Seems of very little use.

I am relieved to see this as I thought I was going MAD!

..so much so that I was embarrassed to admit that just after I launched from Jacques I realised that I had not even refuelled!, couldn’t be bothered to go back, and again was not quite sure if I had just forgot to do it!

Did Jaques move at the last update? (it's just I am parked there while real life takes my time!) :)
As when I docked I brought from the commodities menu.
